Mr. Danny Wayne Freeman

With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of Danny Wayne Freeman, age 72, of Bowdon, Georgia, on August 22, 2026. Danny was born on December 19, 1953, in Carrollton, Georgia, to the late Maelon and Montez Freeman. Throughout his life, Danny was known for his kindness, generosity, quick sense of humor, wisdom, and steadfast faith. He had a genuine way of caring for others and possessed the rare ability to make people feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Those fortunate enough to know Danny will remember not only the things he said and did, but also the way he made them feel. At the center of Danny's life was his family. He shared 45 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Suzanne Freeman, and their life together was filled with love, companionship, treasured memories, and countless shared experiences. Danny also shared a close bond with his brother, Dorsey Freeman (Tena); his niece, Amanda Scott; his nephews, Ed Freeman (Carolyn) and David Freeman (Jennifer); and his seven great-nieces and great-nephews. He was also blessed with many dear friends who became like family through the years. Danny treasured time spent with those he loved. Family gatherings, familiar traditions, good conversations, laughter, and shared adventures were especially meaningful to him. He understood that some of life's greatest blessings are found in simply being together, and the memories created during those times will remain a lasting source of comfort and joy to his family. Danny spent much of his working life in the automotive industry, a career that was a natural fit for his lifelong interest in cars and motorcycles. He took great pride in his work and enjoyed the relationships he built along the way. More than simply a profession, the automotive world gave Danny the opportunity to pursue something he genuinely enjoyed while forming friendships and memories that lasted well beyond his working years. Danny will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving brother and uncle, loyal friend, and a man whose kindness and character left a lasting impression on those around him. His life was marked by faith, family, friendship, and a sincere concern for others. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Maelon and Montez Freeman, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were made richer by knowing him. Although Danny will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in the many wonderful memories he leaves behind and in knowing that the love, laughter, wisdom, and kindness he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Funeral services for Danny will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home. Bro. Dennis Rollins will officiate. Interment will follow at Cleburne Memory Gardens. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. till the service hour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society in honor of Danny Wayne Freeman. Danny will be deeply missed.
