Mr. Wayne Wiggins

September 11, 1944 - August 27, 2017

Mr. Wayne Monroe Wiggins, of Bowdon, Georgia, passed away on August 27, 2017. He was 72. Mr. Wiggins was born on September 11, 1944 in Graham, Alabama to the late Rev. W. Monroe and Louise Wiggins. He was a truck driver by trade and was retired from Allied Trucking. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Spencer Wayne Wiggins; and his sister, Christa Clines. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Wiggins; his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Scott Young; his sons and daughter-in-law, Alan and Sara Wiggins and Michael Wiggins; his granddaughter, Lauren Gregg and her husband, Steven, and Sofie Runyan; his grandson, Ryan Wiggins; his sister, Gwenda Wiggins; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sardis Baptist Church. Bro. Darnell Teal and Bro. Jerry Wiggins will officiate. Kenneth Huddleston, Ted Robinson, Mark Kirby, Josh McCollough, Noah Paradise, Scott Cumming, and Wayne Moon will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 4:00 till 7:00 p.m.
