Rusty Dukes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Russell “Rusty” Dukes, of Franklin, Georgia, passed away on April 12, 2021. He was 55. Mr. Dukes was born on January 8, 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Buford Lee Dukes and Mary Ann Dukes. He was a painter by trade and was fan of NASCAR and the Georgia Bulldogs. He also was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Dukes; his wife, Tracy Ballew; his children and their spouses, Joseph Lee and Jenelle Duke, Ashley Nicole Smith, and Jenny and Blake McCormick; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Smith and Avery Dukes; his brother, Randall Lee “Pete” Dukes; and his nephew, Austin Lee Dukes. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. till the service hour. In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated.
