Mrs. Martha Curbow Clower, of Carrollton, Georgia, went home to be with Jesus on February 5, 2017. She was 88. Mrs. Clower was born on November 12, 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Whit Stein Curbow, Sr. and Mary Clyde Goddard Curbow. She was retired from the Accounting Department of Moore Group Insurance Company. She was a member of North Point Baptist Church and the Silver Saints Sunday School Class. Her prayer for all her extended family was that they would love and serve Jesus all of their lives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Whit and Beverly Curbow; her sister and brother-in-law, Melba and Harold Hancock; and her nephew, John Curbow. Martha was a devoted wife and was married to and survived by the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Clower. They were married for 46 years. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kay Curbow, Jamie and Sandi Curbow, Tom and Sherri Robins, and Jimmy and Susan Hancock; 11 great-nieces and nephews; 20 great-great-nieces and nephews; and two special great-great-great-nieces, Bailey and Katie Smith. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church in Bowdon, Georgia. Pastor Gary Stewart will officiate. Pallbearers will be Chance Smith, Riley Curbow, Sawyer Brown, Zachary Ledbetter, Garrett Curbow, and Chance Curbow. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Prior to the services, the family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 till 4:00 p.m.
