Mrs. Glyneice Lovvorn

December 27, 1940 - February 10, 2022

Mrs. Glyneice Lovvorn, of Bowdon, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. She was 81. Mrs. Lovvorn was born on December 27, 1940 in Bowdon to the late H.B. and Myrtice Pollard Brock. She was a self-employed beautician for many years. She was the longest tenured member of Mountain View Baptist Church and was always active in her church. Most recently she was the leader of the Sunlighters until her health no longer allowed her to serve in that role. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lovvorn was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth G. Lovvorn, and her daughter, Rhonda Rooks. Survivors include her son, Randy Lovvorn and his wife, Jan; her granddaughters, Jennifer Munro and her husband, Mac, Valerie Bennett and her husband, Robert; her grandson, Brandon Rooks and his wife, Sally; her sister, Yvonne Willis and her husband, Donnie; her sister-in-law, Hellen Lovvorn; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Lovvorn will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church. Rev. Scott Estes and Rev. Tommy Wright will officiate. Mrs. Deborah Collins and the church choir will render the music. Pallbearers will be Chris Willis, Steve Lovvorn, Tony Sanders, Gary Sanders, Cory Sanders, and Wayne Forsyth. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m.
