Mrs. Christine Gamble Camp

Mrs. Christine Gamble Camp, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on May 18, 2020. She was 98. Mrs. Camp was born on July 7, 1921 in Bowdon, Georgia to the late William Judson and Emma Lou Gamble. She was retired from the U.S. Forest Service where she worked as a nurse. She graduated from Emory Nursing School in 1947. She was extremely proud of her education and continued to support the Emory Nursing School throughout her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Camp. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Lynn Ezzell Prussner (Laird Prussner) and Mary Faye Ezzell Reed (Daniel Reed); her grandchildren, Robert Reed (Suzanne) and Christopher Reed (Amanda); and her great-grandchildren, Jackson Reed and Luke Reed. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bowdon City Cemetery. Interment will follow. Those wishing to attend are asked to observe proper social distancing procedures.
