Mr. Anthony Clint Smith, of Ranburne, Alabama, passed away on March 5, 2017. He was 42. Mr. Smith was born on March 15, 1974 in Carrollton, Georgia to Clint Smith and Peggy Alewine Smith Hammond. He was a graduate of Ranburne High School and worked at Southwire. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and also ran a barber shop. Mr. Smith loved his customers and would even visit them at home to cut their hair if they weren’t able to get out. He loved hunting and fishing and being outdoors. But most important to him was his family. He loved his family and especially loved being “Beebo” to his grandsons, Bentley, Case, and Maddox. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Samantha Smith; his daughters and son-in-law, Leah and Chase Morgan, and Andi Smith; his mother, Peggy Alewine Hammond; his father, Clint Smith; his grandsons, Bentley, Case, and Maddox: his sisters and brother-in-law, Mekeisa Wright and Sheree and Johnny Lambert; and his nieces and nephews, Hannah, Brayden, Lindsey, Sarah, Em; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marty and Christa Smith, or as they say, “the other Smiths.” Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. (Georgia Time) at Freedom Baptist Church. Bro. Jerome Whaley and Bro. Bryant Turner will officiate. Interment will follow in Cleburne Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 8, 2017 from 3:00 till 8:00 p.m. (Georgia Time).
