Mrs. Agnes Williams Robinson

Mrs. Agnes Williams Robinson, of Lagrange, Georgia, passed away on March 2, 2022. She was 99. Mrs. Robinson was born in Woodland, Alabama on April 13 ,1922 in woodland, Alabama to the late John Henry and Elsie Lee Saxon Williams. Mrs. Robinson worked at many jobs throughout her life. She worked at Playtex in Lagrange, owned and operated Robinson Distribution Company, and also worked for the Lagrange Daily Newspaper until she retired at age 89. She was a member of Cedarcrest Community Church. In her spare time, she loved quilting and gardening. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her daughter, Carol Faye Harper of Five Points, Alabama; her grandchildren and their spouses, Angela and Michael Wheelus and Cheryl and J.L. Norton, all of Lagrange; her great-grandchildren, Cody Wheelus of Lagrange, Tyler Wheelus of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jacob Norton and Lilli Norton, both of Lagrange; and her great-great-granddaughter, Anna Grace Wheelus. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 am at Bowdon First United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Paul Bitica will officiate. Pallbearers will be Cody Wheelus, J.L. Norton, Michael Wheelus, Tyler Wheelus, and Jacob Norton. Interment will follow the services.
