Mrs. Mary Kathryn Sanders

With hearts filled with sorrow and love, we announce the passing of Mary Kathryn Sanders, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 32. Mary Kathryn was born on March 1, 1994. She was a beautiful daughter, a devoted wife, an amazing mother, and a truly selfless friend whose love and kindness touched countless lives. Above all else, Mary Kathryn loved her family. She loved her husband, Brandon, unconditionally and gave her whole heart to him and their boys, William and Mac. Being a wife and mother was the greatest joy of her life. Whether she was cheering from the sidelines as a proud baseball mom, preparing a special meal at home, or simply spending time together as a family, the people she loved most were always at the center of her world. Mary Kathryn had a remarkable gift for caring for others. She was generous with her time, her talents, and her heart, always looking for ways to help those around her. She became especially well known for her dedication to fundraising for baseball and school activities, tirelessly working to support her boys and their community. If something needed to be done, Mary Kathryn could be counted on to step in, lend a hand, and give it everything she had. Creativity was woven into so much of Mary Kathryn's life. She was a naturally gifted and incredibly talented hairstylist who worked at Salon 139 alongside her mother. From the beginning, her talent was evident, and over the years she became not only her mother's right hand at the salon, but an irreplaceable part of the family business. Their relationship went far beyond working side by side. They shared a special mother-daughter bond built on love, trust, friendship, and a closeness that words can scarcely describe. Mary Kathryn also poured her creativity into her small printing business, Kiss My Vinyl. She enjoyed creating personalized shirts, hats, blankets, and countless other special pieces for family, friends, and customers. She took great pride in making something meaningful for others and found tremendous joy in seeing her ideas come to life. At home, Mary Kathryn loved baking fresh bread, trying new recipes, and preparing meals for the people she loved. She was also an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed being outdoors. Yet of all the things she loved and all the activities that brought her happiness, nothing compared to spending time with her family. Mary Kathryn shared an especially close relationship with her father. She cared for her Daddy with a devotion that was evident to everyone who knew them. She was his constant companion, always concerned about him and always ready to care for him. From the day she was born, she was the light of his life, and the bond they shared was one of deep and unwavering love. To her mother, Mary Kathryn was much more than a daughter. She was her right hand, her confidante, her partner, and a piece of her heart. Their lives were deeply intertwined, and the loss of Mary Kathryn leaves an emptiness that words cannot adequately express. Mary Kathryn was a Christian and a member of SonRise Baptist Church. Her faith was an important part of her life and reflected in the compassion, generosity, and love she showed to others. Mary Kathryn is survived by her loving husband, Brandon Sanders; her cherished sons, William and Mac Sanders; her parents, Chris Moore, Mendy Spradlin and Chris Salter; her father-in-law, Richard Sanders; her sister, Hayden Salter; her grandparents, Marilyn Campbell and Gary and Sheila Spradlin; her aunt, Tammy Conn, and cousins, Payten and Presleigh Conn; her uncle and aunt, Casey and Amber Spradlin, and cousins, Summer and Charlie Spradlin; as well as many extended family members, friends, customers, teammates, and others whose lives were forever changed by knowing her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bobby and Sarah Moore and John Mack Campbell. Mary Kathryn gave her whole heart to her family, her friends, her work, and every person fortunate enough to know her. She had a heart that made room for so many and a beautiful spirit that made people feel cared for and loved. Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave will continue to live on through Brandon, William, Mac, her parents and family, and the countless people whose lives she touched. Her family will forever treasure the memories they shared with her, and her love, laughter, creativity, kindness, and devotion will remain a part of them every day. A private burial was held for Mary Kathryn, but the family is planning to hold a memorial service at a later date when circumstances allow.
